Currently a Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Kyambogo University. He completed his Ordinary Diploma in building and civil Engineering from Uganda Technical College, Elgon (2004), Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Building Engineering from Kyambogo University (2012), Master of science Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), (2014) and his PhD at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2020.
He has field experience in the design and supervision of Geotechnical and structural engineering works such as earth retaining structures, slopes, deep excavations, and deep foundations.
He is currently the Coordinator, Programmes Review/Development at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Member of UNBS/TC 112, Production, and general engineering committee responsible for the overall development and implementation of a comprehensive programme for standards development.
Research Interests
His areas of interest include laboratory and field testing for saturated and unsaturated soils, soil improvement, design of civil and building structures, engineering properties of soil (strength and suction measurements), and rainfall-induced landslide monitoring and control measures.
